 Kathy - I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you and all the volunteers did yesterday. The attention to detail was awesome and made for a very enjoyable event for both kids and parents. I thought the distances for each age group was perfect, just enough to push them a little but not too much to overwhelm them. My girls had a great sense of accomplishment and want to do it again!. Dear Kathy - Just wanted to thank you for organizing such a great event.  My son had a wonderful day - was nervous about the swim but came out of the pool door sporting a huge smile (of course my camera was "off" and I missed it but he was obviously proud and relieved to be done with that portion) He transitioned like a champ and then sped off on his bike only to fall pretty hard on the downhill portion of his second lap.  He got back up and kept on going and then ran his two laps around the field strong without missing a beat.  He was tired when he was done but soon got bandaged up by your ace medical team and enjoyed just walking around with his medal.  The afternoon was filled with lots of outdoor boy activities at home and then as I was putting him to bed he said to me.  "Mom that was the funnest day!"  Needless to say I think I have a competitor on my hands:)

I have run many races and my kids have lots of medals from their kid races as well so I understand the challenges and issues that present themselves at events like these.  I have been to well run and terribly run events and I have to say that by my standards yours makes it into the well run category especially for a first time event.  I'm sure there were issues but they were not obvious to me or the people I was with and certainly not to the kids.

Congrats on pulling this off for the first time, get some rest and thank you for doing this. Next year I'll bring all 3 of my boys for sure !!   Kristen

Hi Kathy, my daughter participated in the triathlon yesterday. This was the first such event she has ever participated in and it was a wonderful experience. She and our family enjoyed it very much and were happy for it to have been such a positive experience. Thank you so much for the work you put into making this event happen. I thought everything was well organized and all of your volunteers were impressively kind and helpful. Hope we can do it again next year.

Dear Kathy,Thank you for making the super kids triathlon a great success. Every thing was so well organized.  There were plenty of volunteers to help make the transitions run smoothly as well as along the course to guide the kids along.  My 5 y.o. son had a great time.  The day was great and I can't thank you enough.  Gunnar is looking forward next years Tri.  P.S. everyone was so friendly and helpful.
